Joe Mac Gross, 82, of Westerville, died Monday, May 2, 2011. He was born July 17, 1928 in Lake City, TN the son of the late Isaac and Dora Bell (Kinley) Gross. He was a WWII veteran. He was a member of the Lions Club, had a good sense of humor and was easy going. He was a fan of the University of Tennesee Volunteers and enjoyed traveling back to Tennesee to visit. He is preceded in death by his siblings Earl, Arnold, J.V., Evelyn Oldham, Midge Phillips, and Eunice Hawkins. He is survived by Sondra his wife of forty six years, four children Traci (Michael) Borowitz, Michael (Linda) Gross, Kathy Rowlett, Kimberlee Jones and, seven grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St. (1/2 mile south of I-270) where a funeral service will be held Friday at 10 AM.
