Joey Thomas

Joey Thomas was a loving brother, son, and father who was loved by so many people. He was someone who was an incredible athlete, and extremely talented artist who was able to leave his mark on so many people through tattooing. On June 9th, 2019 at just 33 years of age, he became a hero who was able to give the gift of life to three people who prayed to God for a miracle through the gift of organ donation. This unexpected tragedy rocked his family and friends to the core. He is survived by his son, Jaiven Thomas; partner, Dakota Gamble and her children, Urijah, Malakai, and Callie; mother, Melinda (Mike Gallaugher) Thomas; father, Joe (Kari) Thomas; siblings, Justin (Jennifer) and Joshua Thomas, and Mikey and Mathew Gallaugher; step siblings, Jasmine Louks, Kacey Snow, and Vince Arthur; many aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, June 14, 2019 at Heart and Hope Funeral Home by Schoedinger, 3030 West Broad Street, where friends will be received from 2-4:00 pm Friday.
