John Bishop

John Bishop was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 3, 1936 to the late Clarence and Catherine Bishop. He passed away at his home in Heath on Wednesday February 13, 2013. He was 76.

John is preceded in death by his wife Phyllis and infant son Jeffery Bishop.

He is survived by his daughters Sue (Gary) Bishop of Buckeye Lake, Elizabeth (William) Philabaum of Thornville, Sonya (Curtis) Hay of Etna, Deatra (Gregory) Chesser of Bunn, NC., Suzette (Bradley) Blain of Thornville; sons John and Michelle Bishop of Groveport, Doug and Janean Bishop of Atlanta, GA., Paul and Lorie Bishop of Columbus, Greg and Netty Bishop of Pataskala, Mike and Dawn Bishop of Lancaster, Jeffrey Brown and Austin of the home. Seventeen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren, sister Martha, brothers Paul and Joseph Bishop.

John was a supervisor for Columbus Auto Parts and retired from Martin Marietta Aerospace, and was a member of the Old County Church.
