John Albert Bishop

John Albert Bishop passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at the age of 69. John was born on February 28, 1954 to Louise and the late Albert Bishop. John was a proud retiree of The Ohio State University McCracken Power Plant and spent his retirement enjoying his passion for trains. He was ecstatic to be a grandfather and always found a way to brag about his kids and grandkids. John had a desire to serve others and always spread the word of the Lord when he could. In addition to his father, John is proceeded in death by his son John Bishop II. He is survived by his children, Christopher (Jennifer) Bishop, Kathleen (Sarah) Bishop, Geoffrey (Brittney) Bishop; grandchildren, Elijah, Riley and Liliana Bishop; mother, Louise Bishop; brother, Jim (Erin) Bishop; sister Suzanne (JT) Romain; and many other family and friends. A celebration of life to honor John will be held on Friday March 24, 2023 at 1:00pm at Crossroads Baptist Church.
