John Earl Budnick

John Earl Budnick of Baltimore, Ohio passed away on July 10, 2026. He was born on March 11, 1966 in Columbus, Ohio to Carl W. and Sarah L. (McDaniel) Budnick. John joins his mother in death along with his grandson Ryder Veres and sister Diane Campbell. He leaves behind his father; children Sarah (Matt) Budnick-Harris, Megan Budnick and Johnathon Budnick; grandchildren Shelby, Austin, Isabell, Melani and another grandchild on the way. Also surviving are siblings Debra Freeman, Jane (John) Hablitzel and Gary (Connie) Budnick as well as special friend and the mother of his children Amanda Ingold. John enjoyed wine making, RC cars and gardening. He was a 1984 graduate of Liberty Union Thurston High School and he was also a member of the FFA and 4H in younger years. The family would like to say a special thank you to all the folks at the Basil Fire Department for the care and assistance they have provided to John over the years. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in John’s name to the Basil Joint Fire District – Station 610, 410 Washington Street, Baltimore, Ohio 43105 or to OhioHealth’s mobile stroke treatment unit (MSTU) at 3535 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio 43214. Donation to OhioHealth should note on the check John’s name as well that its for the MSTU. A celebration of life service for John will be held at a later date.
