John was a beloved brother and friend to my father and many others. Always uplifting and positive. May John find peace and joy in heaven!

Our Family chain is missing another link since you are gone, but we will be able to build that chain again once we all reunite.  I'm sad that you are gone, but happy where you are now.  There must be a big Family Reunion going on in Heaven now. We will see each other again soon  :)

We all have fond memories of talking and being with John.  He was funny when he wasn't even trying to be.  Never a time had we gone somewhere, he'd do or say something to crack me up.  He loved going to the Waffle House for breakfast.  He knew their menu without even looking at it.  The trip we made to Arkansas...hilarious!  I had never spent 14 hours in the car with him before..he liked to stop and eat.  John liked playing the Lottery.  He would always be talking about Pick Three. One time I ran over and ask John if he wanted to go get some scratch off tickets, he said "Naw.....No money today!"  I talked him into going anyway...I gave him $10...and he was standing there  working on the scratch offs...He won $100 !  John was as happy as getting Brian's cereal  in the morning (growing up).  He'd tell Brian there were germs in the cereal.  LOL.!  Anyway, John pocketed the money. Never did get my $10 back!!.  He cracked me up!!!  John did have a concerned spirit about him when something wasn't going quite right.  He did care about the family.  Thank you Danny for being there for John.  He really loved you! You too Brian!!  You made John's life easier a lot of times. He could always count on you!! You were a good brother! Though John is not here now, we will all seen him again soon. What a day that will be!!

John had such a loving heart and when he called it was hard to get him to talk about himself, he was always concerned about others. I enjoyed our many conversations about our children and grandchildren, and our own childhoods. I know he is in good hands with our Lord and enjoying conversation with my dad and uncle Gary,and all our beloved family in heaven

you will forever be missed in so many lives, fly high my friend, i love you and will never forget the love, laughter, and all of the years we spent together. i will always know that you are  out there looking out for us just like you said you would. Thank you for loving me when sometimes it was hard to do. I hope you are at peace now.
