John Allen Davis

John Allen Davis, 68, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 22, surrounded by his loved ones. John was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio along with two surviving brothers, Darryl (Linda) of Australia and Dennis (Connie) of Columbus. Parents, Don and Martha Davis, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Tokie "Kiliko" Davis, their only son Joe (Michele), two grandchildren, and several nephews, nieces, and cousins. John loved his family greatly and was a man of integrity, character, and humor. He retired from the Columbus Dispatch, loved the Smoky Mountains, was a Vietnam War veteran, and an avid reader of history (especially Napoleon and the Civil War). Celebration of Life service Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 3 pm at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel. The family will receive friends beginning 2 pm, and for a short time after the service.
