Two of John's great life passions were the encouragement and education of young people; and Boston terriers. One of John's former student athletes perhaps said it best," Mr. Fenner was a committed coach and educator who was a tremendous positive influence on my life. 'A Teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops'". John often volunteered at various animal care/adoption agencies and loved fostering Bostons that needed extra TLC. A Celebration of Life Service will be 3pm on Sunday, April 26, at the Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where family will greet friends one hour prior and following the ceremony. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.Schoedinger.com . In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue Group, PO Box 297, Kent City, MI 49330, or Gentiva Hospice 540 Officenter Place, Suite 100, Gahanna, OH 43230, in his memory. Or, simply, encourage someone.
