John T. Howard

John T. Howard, age 84, of Grove City, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 with his family by his side. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He served in both World War II and the Korean War. He retired from National Packaging in 1994 after many years of dedicated service. He was a member of Potters House Church of God and Cornerstone Church of God. He was a loving Husband, Daddy, and Poppy and will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 39 years, Alma Howard; wonderful daughters, Denise Howard-Booth and Lisa Howard; and his beloved grandchildren, Gabrielle and Austin Booth. John was easy going, kind, and never knew a stranger. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid golfer. Friends may call on Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 2:00PM-4:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City where funeral service will be held on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 10:00am. Bishop Bob Owens officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester, Ohio.
