The family of John Richard “Dick” Krulcik would like to invite all family and friends in celebration of our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend in a remembrance of his life on Friday 13, 2026. John was born June 14, 1947 to the late John and Virginia (Romanowski) Krulcik of Piney Fork, Ohio.
Growing up in eastern rural Ohio, his parents and family cultivated a love of country, family, heritage, friends, determination, and hard work. John developed an early passion for reading and discovery, that opened him to adventures, worlds, and galaxies far outside of the geographic boundaries of the Ohio River Valley. His appetite for learning catapulted him on a life long journey, which if you were around him for more than half an hour, may here the phase “knowledge is power.” That same drive and passion for discovery, led to many other adventures in automotive racing, bike riding, gardening at Fifty-Oaks, and investing in the next generations education and development. Of these adventures, John’s passion was bicycling! He was dedicated, investing thousands of training hours to the Columbus Pelotonia. For John this was much more than just a biking event. This was his way to give back, to do his part, to raise awareness, funding and find a cure for cancer. John was a 9- time Pelotonia race contestant with his longest ride of 100 miles in 2022. Lastly, John was especially proud of his Polish heritage and loved wearing his Polska “swag” ensuring all around had no doubt wear his roots began…so “You bet your duppa, I’m Polish” shirt was his favorite.
Apart from his passions, his LOVE was his family and that started with his beloved wife Beth. He always made time to make sure those around him had the love and support they needed to succeed, and his legacy of kindness will live on through so many. John’s endless energy, compassion, and love for his family and friends was unparalleled and John conversed with everyone, and never knew a stranger.
John is survived by his beloved wife Beth (Hoyer) Krulcik, his two sons Todd & (wife);
Angelina Krulcik, Micheal & (wife) Angela Krulcik, his two sisters Sis & (husband) Terry
Fabry, Lisa & (husband) Mark Leput, his five grandchildren Trevor, Taryn, Toby, Chloe, and Abigail, as well as his loving nieces and nephews, cousins, family, and many friends.
