John Wesley Lowery, 69 of Grove City, died Friday, October 12, 2012 at his daughter’s home in Monroe, OH. He was born September 3, 1943 in Columbus to the late James and Mae (Jenkins) Lowery. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam. He is preceded in death by his sister Evelyn Howell and brother Carl Lowery. John is survived by three daughters Evelyn Kay (Robert) Smith, Lori Lynn Cromp and Kimberly Nicole (Christopher) Volk, grandchildren Ivoryanna Mattox, Leslie Chapman. Amber, Christopher, David, Kaylee Cromp. Lilian, Ethan, Gavin Volk, great grandchildren Brendon Mattox, Kaylynn Needham, Kylee Cromp, Lillie Cromp, nieces and nephew. Family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Grove City Cemetery.
