John Patrick Nee

John Patrick Nee, age 60, of Columbus, formerly a longtime resident of Chicago, Illinois, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 5, 2022 at his home. John was born on August 2, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late John and Maureen (Folan) Nee. He is survived by his wife Gloria Perez; stepdaughter, Christina (Jose) Aviles; stepson, Saul Perez; grandsons, Isaac and Joshua; sisters and brothers, Eileen (Don) Duvall, Kevin (Debbie) Nee, Pauline (Jim) Nolan, Kathleen (Richard) Downing and Michael (Zena) O’Neill; nieces and nephews, Brittany, Sarah, Brendan, Patrick, Rachael, James, Thomas, Stephan, Matthew, Hannah and Emma; cousins, other relatives and many friends. John loved to go fishing, visit relatives in Ireland and spending time with his family. He had the best sense of humor, a people person and a social butterfly.
