

John Paul continued his college education in multiple locations, including South Carolina, and was currently working towards his Marketing Degree. John Paul loved his job as a server at several Columbus restaurants including Mitchell's Fish Market, the Polaris Grill, and currently at J. Gilbert's.
John Paul was a sports enthusiast who loved his Bengals, Reds, and OSU Buckeyes. He was brilliant, opinionated, and had many interests. He was an independent thinker, extremely creative and enjoyed writing and poetry.
John Paul cared for his friends and family. He loved deeply without reservation, was loyal and passionate about how he felt. He could make a person angry and laugh all in a moment's time. He talked a lot about the great people in his life and learned from his father that his friends were his camaraderie. John Paul will be so deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Betty Postlethwaite and Paul and Eula Peeler; and beloved aunt, Ruth Lynn Manter. John Paul will be missed by his loving parents, Janice and John Postlethwaite; sisters, Kelsy Pinkerton and her son, Tyler and Julie (Scott) Mergen; aunts, Julie (Guy) Eckinger, and Carolyn Anderson; uncle, Joe Manter; cousins, Loren Anderson, Amy Hoersdig, Jennifer Lancaster, and Jill Michaelson; and special girlfriend, Jess Peer.
Family will receive friends Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus, OH. Private family services and burial will be held.
