John L. Priest, Jr., age 72 of Hilliard, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022. John was born and raised in Bryan, Ohio, son of the late John and Evelyn Priest, Sr. Also preceded in death by his son, John L. Priest, III. U.S. Army veteran. John graduated from The Ohio State University where he studied Mechanical Engineering. Following graduation, John worked many years at Sensortech, before leaving to begin his own business, Sensorworks, of which he retired from. John was a quiet man who enjoyed golfing and cooking. He will be missed by his loving wife of 34 years, Marsha Priest; daughter, Jodi Priest; grandsons, Joshua, Nicholas, Matthew, and Adam Priest; sisters, Thelma (Jerry) Hawkins, Joann Priest, Joan Priest, and Judy (John) Brown; and other extended family members and dear friends. A memorial service honoring John will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, October 10, 2022 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Rd.
