John Joseph Remy

John J. Remy, age 81, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019. He was born on March 10, 1938 in Beaver, Ohio to the late Lesley and Anna Remy. John was a strong family man and the best story teller. He was caring, giving and selfless. He enjoyed wood working, the latest tech. gadgets, trips to Bowl Games, Gatlinburg, Tennessee and Riverboat Casinos. John loved food, always finding great restaurants to eat at. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Remy. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 56 years, Carole; sons, John (Jacquie) and Jeff Remy; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jarod and Jackson; brother, Gene (Carolyn) Remy; Linda Remy; Pat and Rick Warren; Martha Whaley; and nieces and nephews, Dana (Greg), Jami (Tommy), Dan (Salita), Todd (Michelle) and Jason (Karen). Family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Friday, July 19, 2019 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
