Jon Adams Ellis passed away at home on February 5, 2017 after a long illness. He was the sweetest and kindest man who loved everyone. He had a magnetic personality and couldn't say no to helping others. His love for animals started early every morning as he would feed his favorite sparrows. They would be waiting for him as soon as the garage door opened. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Ellis and grandfather, Lonnie Adams. His survivors include his son, Elijah; mother, Jan Moffo and stepfather, Foster Moffo; grandmother, Helen Adams and Rita (Jack) Roese; cousins, Julie, Jill, Jackie, and Chris; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
