Joseph C. Fitch

JC passed away on January 10, 2019 after an extended illness. He was born on April 23, 1951 to John Harvey and Bettye Jean Mitchell Fitch. JC was proceeded in death by his parents and his first wife, Susan Burns Fitch. He is survived by his wife Karen; his daughter, Katherine; son, David; and two step-daughters, Stacey and Kellie; grandchildren, Jace, Taylor, Ava, Mariella; siblings, Jerry (Laura) Fitch; sister, Sheila Fitch and brother, Jeff Fitch.

He attended Woodford County High School, Western Illinois University, and attended the Police Academy at Eastern Kentucky where he finished his education. In High School, JC was Second Team All State in football and excelled in track in Middle School through High School. He continued to play football and track throughout his college years. JC enjoyed coaching soccer, and managing youth teams for many years.

JC will be remembered for his love of his family and kids, for his love of life, his sense of humor and his desire to encourage those around him that all things are possible.
