

Joseph “Joe” M. Hagerman, age 80, of Ashville, passed away Monday, January 10, 2011. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 3, 1930 to the late George E. and Helen B. (Sickle) Hagerman. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from Sears and Roebuck Distribution in 1992 after many years of service. Joe enjoyed bowling, riding his Harley, and watching his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was also an avid fan of The OSU Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, George Hagerman; and sister, Florence Lyons. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Janet M. (Baker) Hagerman; daughters, Becky (Thomas) Mann, Christy (Scott) Lawrence, Tamara (Michael) Medley, and Julie (Tommy) Jordan; grandchildren, Heather (Ryan) Fleming, Dustin (Angie) Mann, Leslianne (Richard) Doe, Joey Lawrence, Joshua Medley, Jonny Lawrence, Lindsay Medley, Jesse Lawrence, Connor Jordan, and Leighanne Jordan; great grandchildren, Bailee Mann, Olivia Mann, Reid Fleming, Aubrey Fleming, and Maddox Mann; sister, Maryann Gochenour; and many nieces and nephews.
