Joseph Janis, 90, of Dublin, formerly of Cleveland, passed away on November 27, 2016. He was born on December 18, 1925 to the late Joseph and Annie (Staniks) Jasilionis. Joseph was a Veteran of World War II and served in the United States Army, 100th Division. Joseph will be greatly missed by his wife of 67 years, Evelyn "Jean" (Regal) Janis; daughters Deborah Janis and Diane Lavelle; granddaughters Kelly Pataky and Jennifer Lavelle. The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 North High Street, Worthington. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1:30pm Friday, December 2, 2016 at St. Brigid of Kildare, 7179 Avery Road, Dublin. Burial with military honors will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
