Joseph M. "Jay" Noel

Joseph M. “Jay” Noel, Jr., age 58, of Upper Arlington and formerly of Pittsburgh, PA passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at his home. Jay was born on June 17, 1952 and was the son of the late Joseph and Barbara Noel. Jay was also preceded in death by his brother, Craig. Jay was a graduate of Avonworth High School in PA. He attended Alleghany and Antioch College. Jay enjoyed his studies in law but his true passion was physics. Jay worked for Kroger’s as their courtesy clerk for several years. He loved to travel to the Jersey Shore and Atlantic City. Jay loved sports and was great at making friends. He recently enjoyed participating in Fore Hope. He is survived by his loving siblings, Robert S. Noel, Mark (Tina) Noel, and Laura (Jeff) Stratton; sister-in-law, Carol Noel; nieces and nephews, Joshua and Jacob (LeAnne) Stratton and Joseph (Katie) and Mary Noel; along with 3 great nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 10am to 12pm at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221; where services will start at 12noon.
