Joseph G. Perko, born December 25, 1942 in Gary, Indiana to Joseph and Anna (Yurjevich) Perko, died April 24, 2024. He graduated in 1960 from Tolleston High School, Gary, Indiana achieving membership in The National Honor Society, and from Indiana University, Bloomington in 1965. He received A Masters Degree in Banking from The Graduate School of Business, University of Wisconsin in 1982. Joe spent his working career as an examiner for the FDIC, retiring in 2001. He traveled extensively in Europe pursuing his love of Medieval History and music. He has been a resident of Columbus, Ohio since 1982, most recently at Westminster Thurber and was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral, Columbus. A choral concert of Sacred Music in his memory will be held there at a later date.
