Joshua "Josh" Raymond Koetz

Joshua “Josh” Raymond Koetz, age 37, passed away on May 5, 2026. He was born on January 1, 1989 in Columbus, Ohio to John W. and Mary E. (Libby)) Koetz. Josh was a 2007 graduate of Bexley High School and attended The Ohio State University. Josh was an avid grower of plants and loved animals of all kinds. He had a love for his ferrets and later in life, cats. He was also gifted in music and art. Josh had an affinity for working on cars, could cook great beef tenderloin and loved bacon, but preferred Rubino’s Pizza where he worked for many years! Josh will be greatly missed by his parents, his brother, Nicholas W. Koetz, aunts and uncles; Kristin Brant (Richard), Debbi Kelly (Larry Thorne), Russ Willis (Ginny), Susan Russell and Carla Willis, as well as many cousins and a good friend, Alex McIntire. Josh is preceded in death by his grandparents; Edwin and Marilyn Koetz, Raymond and Mary Willis. Services will be held at Bexley United Methodist Church at 4pm on Sunday, June 14th followed by a celebration of his life from 5pm to 7 pm, also at the church. We will celebrate with stories of the good times with Josh and all the Rubinos Pizza you can eat!
