It is with heavy hearts, we announce that Joyce Ann Alford-McDonald passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025. She was born in Moses Lake, Washington to the late Charles Mac and Emily McDonald. Joyce was known to help others and her honest personality. Painting and drawing eagles were a passion of Joyce, flamingo’s fascinated her and was a lover of cats and dogs.
She will be deeply missed by her children: her daughter Emily Alford; son Charles Alford, her sister Barbara (Ray)Raber and niece. Joyce was a beloved mother and grandmother. She dedicated her life to raising her twins and worked at the Division of Wildlife which she retired from. She was excited for the birth of her first grandson Cato Alford born January 2025. She was also excitedly waiting for her second grandson arriving in May.
Her life will be remembered at a Memorial Service that will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 4:00pm at Advantage by Schoedinger North at 5554 Karl Road. A Visitation will follow from 5:00 to 7:00pm.
