Joyce Lee Holbrook

Joyce Lee (Goldsberry) Holbrook, 72, of Columbus, died Tuesday, February 2, 2016. She was born August 28, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Iva (Griffey) Goldsberry. She was a 1962 graduate of Marion Franklin High School and retired from Continental Insurance with over 25 years of service. After retiring she worked at Grange Insurance for 5 years. Her family and friends were very important to her and she loved spending time with them. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy R. Holbrook. Joyce is survived by sons, Charles W. (Marsha) Gearhart III and Brian A. (Janet) Gearhart; grandchildren, Brian A. Gearhart Jr., Laura Marie (fiancé Nick Troyan) Gearhart; great-grandson, Jeremiah; brothers, Danny (Marlane) Goldsberry and Kenneth Goldsberry, Jr.; close friends, Kay Reed and Sandy Rhinehart; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, where a funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Pleasant Cemetery, Mt.
