Joyce Mitchell, age 62, passed away at her home on Thursday, May 28, 2015. Joyce was born in Denver, Colorado to Helen (Orosz) and the late Chester Reed. Along with her mother she is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Andrew) Sturgill, granddaughters, Anabelle, Bailee, Chloey and Delila; sister, Gayle (Robert) Moses; brother, Donald (Janice) Reed; and close friends Karen Senesac and Gordy Woodson. She previously was employed as an independent real estate appraiser. Joyce was a simple soul who was happiest at home spending time with her daughter and granddaughters. She taught swim lessons for many years, and joked that she taught over 10,000 children how to swim, her favorites being her two oldest granddaughters.
