Juanita L. Cooper, age 73, of Plain City, formerly of Columbus, died Monday, November 18, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Juanita was born in Gulfport, Mississippi on January 30, 1940, the daughter of Frances (Goldsmith) and James Johnson. She retired from Columbus City Schools as a school bus driver with over 20 years of service and had worked part time at HER Realty. She was a member of Witnesses from Christ and enjoyed fishing, cooking, knitting and reading scriptures. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings Robert, Jimmy, Peggy and Elizabeth Johnson. Juanita is survived by her husband Kristol W. Cooper; her children Kristopher (Kelly) Cooper and Juanita Cooper; grandchildren Kristol, Erica, Kristopher, Adam, Anina, Seth, Eron, Egypt, and Ebony Cooper and Dwayne Moss; great grandchildren Angela and Kris Cooper; siblings Joseph, Larry, Frances, Evelyn and Janet Johnson. No services will be held. Arrangements by Schoedinger Midtown Chapel.
