Juanita Jane Murray

Juanita Jane Murray, age 83, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2012. She was born February 26, 1928 to the late Frank Gordon Carpenter and Nellie Mae (Nash) Carpenter; also preceded in death by her brother, George Carpenter; sisters, Mary Fetter, Frances Bennett and Hilda Bennett and a sister-in-law, Norma Murray. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Lester Alton Murray; children, Theresa “Terri” (Tony) Sestito and Robert L. (Sandra) Newberry; beloved grandchildren, Tara and Trisha Sestito; numerous nieces and nephews who were very special to her; brother-in-law, Allen (Rusty) Murray and sisters-in-law, Doris Kingman, Verna Johnson, Jean George and Ardie (Tom) Chamblis. Family will receive friends 4-6pm Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232 where services will be held Wednesday at 12:30pm; Pastor David Hunt, of Brookside Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Galena Cemetery. Those who wish, in lieu of flowers, may contribute to the Arthritis Foundation in Juanita's memory.
