

Juanita Kay White, age 71, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2012. She was born prematurely on January 6, 1941 in Athens, Ohio and though small in stature, she lived each and every day to its fullest! Kay worked many jobs throughout her lifetime, including dispatching for the Columbus Police Dept. and serving as administrative assistant to the director of the Ohio Youth Commission. She was passionate about gardening and singing, oftentimes making up songs about the people in her life. A charismatic woman, Kay enjoyed teaching, learning and loving. She surrounded herself with hearts and roses and was happiest whenever the family was all together, like at Christmas time. She is survived by her children, Franklin Ezra (Tammy) White, Vicki Lynn White and Sandra Jeanette (Mike, deceased) Allen; grandchildren, Windi (Jon) Noble, Benjamin White, Christina Berry, Malinda White, Joshua (Beth) White, Jessica Allen and Elisa (Ernie) Blue; great-grandchildren ,Caleb (Windi), Kylie & Corbin (Christina), Frankie & Logan (Malinda), Josiah & Carson (Elisa) and Aleya (Joshua); brother, Blaine Evener, Jr.; several nieces and nephews, other extended family and friends. Preceded in death by her father, Blaine Evener, Sr.; mother, Garnet Allen; sisters, Geneva Dillon and Wanda Sayre; former husband, Ernest Frank White. Services for Kay will be held at 1pm on Monday October 1, 2012 at Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH 43229, where family will receive friends beginning at 12pm; Rev.
