A memorial service for Judith A. Crist, age 71, of Newark, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 13, at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 383 Washington Street, Newark, with Rev. Dr. Michael A. Noble officiating.
Mrs. Crist was born March 9, 1942 in Newark, Ohio to the late Ralph and Beatrice (Jackson) Smith. She passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. Mrs. Crist retired from Kroger’s where she had been a cashier. She was a member of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Newark and was passionate about reading the Bible. She was also an avid OSU football fan.
She is survived by a son, Michael (Tracy) Morrison of Newark; a cousin, Rose (Robert) Barnett of Newark; and a sister, Vicky Maynard of Milan.
