

Judy Kay Bovie, age 42, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2011. She was born in Columbus on February 21, 1968 to the late Leroy and Linda Conant and attended South High School, class of 1986. Judy was passionate about cats and was involved with the Cat Welfare Association, caring for stray and abused cats in the Columbus area. She also loved her own cat, Little Man, as well as Hello Kitty, Juicy Couture, and the color pink. She was full of life and love for her family and friends. She is survived by her husband and love of nearly 30 years, Daniel Bovie; daughter, Jennifer Bovie; brother, Leroy Conant Jr. (Judy); other family members, Corbett and Nick Rigsby, Pam (Brian) Aliff, Jim Wamsley, Frank and Eva Stanley, Eddie Conant, Craig Wamsley, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and close friends, Becky Benner and Mark Steinart. She was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Rigsby. The family will receive friends from 11am to 1 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2011, at the SCHOEDINGER NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City where funeral service will be held at 1pm with Celebrant Andrew Hoover officiating.
