Judy Marie Dabe

Judy M. Dabe, age 53, of Columbus, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at St. Ann’s Hospital. She was a 35 year employee of Crosby’s Drugs and a longtime Friday night league bowler at the Columbus Square Bowling Palace. Judy’s “heart was bigger than she was”; she did everything she could to make the world better for those around her. She was a loving wife and mother to her own children and all of their friends. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Ruth Smith. She is survived by her husband, Dean Dabe; children, Katie and Jimmy (Ashley Miller) Dabe; siblings, Gregg (Tammie) Smith, Trudy (Tom) Warneka, Sharon (Paul) Schultz, and Dale (Debbie) Smith; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends will be received from 1-3:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. on Monday August 25, 2014 at SCHOEDINGER LINDEN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 2741 Cleveland Avenue, where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2014; entombment Union Cemetery.
