

Judith A. (Turnbull) Hoffman, 70, passed away on May 6th in Bradenton, FL. Judy was born February 28, 1944 to Ruby and John Turnbull of Gahanna, OH. Graduated from Gahanna-Lincoln H.S. and attended The Ohio State University. Retired from the Defense Construction Supply Center, Whitehall, OH. Employee of the Belk Lindsay Department store in Bradenton. Preceded in death by mother, Ruby (Osborn) and father, John Turnbull. Survived by her loving daughter, Erin (Paul) Perry, Cleveland, OH; brother, Allen (Sandy) Turnbull, Pleasantville, OH; sister, Connie (Bob) Ricci, Bradenton, FL. 1 niece and 3 nephews. Preceded in death by long-time friend, Lewis Grimes. Judy was a dedicated mother, gentle and loving towards all people and animals, including Erin’s pets, Zeke, Tommy, Lucy, and Springer. She attended church, loved cooking, gardening, art, reading, and sunsets on Coquina Beach. Her kind giving heart will be missed by many relatives and friends. Family requests donations be made in her memory to the children’s or animal charity of choice. Friends may call from 4-6 pm on Sunday, May 18th and on Monday, May 19th from 10-11 am at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL1051 E. Johnstown RD. (at Beecher RD) Gahanna.
