
A celebration of life service for Judy Ann Millein, 57, of Ashtabula, Ohio, formerly of Newark, will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 3:00PM at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 383 Washington St., Newark, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Charles Noble Sr. officiating.
Judy departed this world at University Hospital of Cleveland on Tuesday February 9, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. Her long fight with cancer is over and now she can be Free! Judy was born on March 11, 1952 in Athens Georgia, to the late Ola Bell Stephens and J. W. Allen Sr. At an early age, Judy and her family moved to Newark, where she was raised and graduated from Newark High School. Judy was interested in construction and became a heavy equipment operator. This career took her all the way to Ashtabula and other parts of Northeast Ohio, where she became very successful and eventually retired in 2009. A hard worker and driven, she will be missed by all who knew her.
She leaves behind to carry on, her daughters, Nicole Ogden of Columbus and Angelina Fikes of Cleveland; grandchildren, Kordell Ogden of Columbus and Charley Thompas of Cleveland; sister, Marie Allen; brothers, J. W. Allen Jr., Milton Milline, and Bryan Stephens, all of Newark; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends with a special thanks to Shelia and Larry.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Roy Allen and grandparents Flora Bell Allen and Square Allen.
Family and friends may call on Saturday at the church from 2:00PM until 3:00PM.
