Judy and her eternal smile slipped the bonds of earth and touched the face of God on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, with family and close friends at her side in Hilliard, OH. She was 85 years young, born September 16, 1940 in Wooster, OH.
Preceded in death by son Trevor Howard Hartley and grandson Caleb. She is survived by loving husband Tom (Columbus), son Lance Taylor Hartley (Columbus) and daughter Heather Ingle Anthony (Mason, OH), brother Michael (Arlington, VA) and sister Patty Osborn (Brighton, MI). She also leaves fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; all of whom were special to her.
Judy “adopted” others who became family: Jennifer Ruffing and Sharon Pfennig as assumed daughters.
Judy was a “fashionista”, having worked for Limited Store, Gucci and Victoria’s Secret. She was most proud of her volunteer works. She served on Nationwide Children’s Hospital as Chair of the Women’s Auxiliary Council, was actively involved in the first Memorial Golf Tournaments and, later in life, volunteered for multiple organizations involved with elderly and hospice care and Meals on Wheels…caring more about others than she did herself.
