Julia A. Lanning

Julia Ann "Judy" Lanning, age 72, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 with her family by her side. Judy was born in Zanesville, Ohio on June 11, 1944 to Robert and Ruth (Pemberton) Young. Judy graduated from Roseville High School. Judy had many interests and enjoyed weekly bingo, watching sports, writing, playing cards and cooking. She played the organ and piano at St. Pauls Methodist Church in Roseville, OH. Judy was crazy about her family and especially her grand babies who affectionately called her "Nana". She will be missed by all who loved her. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruth Young; step-mother, Maxine Young; and son, Edward A. "Eddie" Lanning. Survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Larry E. Lanning; children, Darin (Teresa) Anders, Mandy Smith, Lara Lanning, Ruby Ann (Tim) Moore, Shane Lanning, and Curtis Lanning; grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, and Melissa Moore, Ryan and Macey Anders, Kahlie (Kyle) Lewis, Kennedy (Trey) Ford and Kirkland Martin; great grandchildren, Brayden Anders, Hunter Moore and Layne Ford; sister, Kay Caffroy; beloved pet Annie Grace; many other relatives and friends.
