Jay proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was Honorably Discharged as a 2nd Class Petty Officer.
For over 50 years he had a successful career in the furniture industry. In 1979, his work brought him to Columbus, OH which became his permanent residence.
Jay will be missed by his wife of 67 years, Joan (Nine) Loewenstein, son T.O. Loewenstein daughter Elyse (Chris) Remick and grandchildren Nicholas, Colin and Hannah Remick.
A Memorial Service will be held at Congregation Beth Tikvah, 6121 Olentangy River Rd., Worthington, OH 43085 on Sunday, July 8th at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to one's favorite charity.
