Karen S. Golden

Karen Golden was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 11, 1956 and died on March 27, 2018. She is survived by her husband Steve, son Jeremiah and daughter Emily (Mike) Haupt. Karen also leaves behind her mother Carol Deem; sister Laurie (Terry) Hammett; brother Craig Deem and brother in law Jim (Pat) Golden; nephews Andrew Hammett and Justin Golden and niece Shannon Golden. She will also be dearly missed by her aunts, uncles and many friends. She is predeceased by her father Bernie Deem and brothers Randy Deem and Scott Deem.

Karen had a beautiful life and a loving family. Steve and Karen met and fell in love in high school. Their love was held together by our Lord and Savior and their devotion to putting each other first. She had a blessed life with the gift of two amazing children, Jeremiah and Emily. Her family did everything together including riding bikes, going hiking, and traveling to various places. Karen was a very giving person and always put others first. She greatly enjoyed having family and friends over for gatherings such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Parties. Karen was the only true love of Steve's life and was a blessing to all.

The family has entrusted Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 North High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085 with arrangements. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 3rd from 3:00pm - 5:00pm with a funeral service following at 5:00pm with Pastor Rob Barlow officiating.
