Karen S. Kozar

Karen S. Kozar, age 83, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026. She was born on October 7, 1942 in Marion, Ohio to the late Forest and Hazel (Chapman) Good. Karen was a resident of Dublin, Ohio at the time of passing and was preceded in death by Ken, her husband for 54 years, in 2018. Karen will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by 5 children, Mark (Lori) Kozar, Laura (Tim) Batanian, David (Laurie) Kozar, Joan (Joe) Cini, and Michael(Molly) Kozar; 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She graduated from Ohio State University; married Ken in 1964 in Toledo, Ohio; and spent a lifetime helping others and serving her community. Karen was an avid tennis player, fan of the Ohio State marching band and football team, and dedicated to family.

Funeral services will be held at 4 pm on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Schoedinger Northwest Funeral Home, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221 followed by visitation from 5 pm until 7 pm. Entombment will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Resurrection Cemetery in Toledo, Ohio.
