

Karen Jill Mlicki passed away peacefully at her home on May 21, 2024. She was born on December 5, 1941, in Buffalo, Ohio, as the sixth of Clarence and Clarice (Blair) Kackley's nine children. She moved to Columbus after graduating Valedictorian of her high school. There she met her long-time husband of 56 years, Ronald, when he walked into the advertising agency where she worked. Together they traveled all over the world from Europe to China and parts beyond. She earned her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University while working and raising two children. A devoted wife, loving mother and doting grandmother, she lived life by the mantra, "Don't sweat the small stuff." Her endless warmth and abundant kindness touched everyone she met from all walks of life. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Mlicki, her daughter Kelley Mlicki, her son and daughter-in-law Jason and Marisa Mlicki, her four grandchildren Caliope, Luca, Aleksy, and Marco Mlicki, her sisters, and her many nieces and nephews. She was adored by all and will be held deeply in our hearts for the rest our lives. A celebration of life will be held at Schoedinger Northwest,1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221 on Wednesday May 29 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
