

Karen Jean Ouse, age 53, of Grove City Ohio, formerly of Rothsay, Minnesota, passed away on August 28, 2016 after a brief bout with cancer. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Life Church in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Schoedinger Funeral Home of Grove City, Ohio. Karen was born in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota on August 17, 1963 to Wyman and Jean Westfall. Karen was married to Roger Ouse on November 9, 1985; they were blessed with 30 years of marriage. Karen's biggest passions in life were being a mother to seven children and walking alongside others in their journey. Karen was able to spend her last few weeks with her children where she expressed her love and dreams to them. Her best memories include building friendships with young mothers and volunteering her time at Rachel's House of Lower Lights Ministries where she mentored formerly incarcerated women. Karen's faith in Jesus Christ encouraged her to follow God's will for her life and guided her immense love for others. She is survived by her husband Roger, children Reid (Amanda) of Jersey City, New Jersey. Hilary (Joey) Dvorscak of Grove City, Ohio. Sadie (Mack Gullickson) of Denver, Colorado. Selah, Livvy, Jeremiah, and Christopher of Grove City, Ohio.
Parents Wyman and Jean Westfall, sisters Lori (Kenn) Dahmes and Nancy Hallstrom, parents-in-law Ralph and Roberta Ouse, sister-in laws Ramona (Lynn) Johnson and Renee (Jim) Rubish, ten nieces/nephews, and six great-nephews/niece. Preceded in death by brothers Bryan and Paul Westfall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Lower Lights Ministries of Columbus, Ohio.
