Kathie E. Long, age 63, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 16, 2016. Kathie was born March 28, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Donald and Gaynell (Knight) Long. She is survived by siblings Donna Guss (Jay), Terry Beihl (Gary), Bobbie Gilmore, Don Long (Susie), her beloved dogs (Buck and Axel), and 33 nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Franklin Heights HS and The Ohio State University. She briefly taught elementary school and retired from Kroger after 30 years of service. She was an avid gardener who loved working in her yard and greenhouse. She shared that love with family, friends, and neighbors. Kathie enjoyed reading, sitting by the fire, golfing, and hunting. She was a wonderful sister, aunt, great aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed by all. Celebration of Life date TBD.
