Kathleen L. Harrison

Kathleen “Katy” (Eads) Harrison; 94 passed away peacefully on April 26, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born on April 6, 1921 to John & Cordellia Eads in Lancaster Ohio; the youngest of 11 children. Graduating from Lancaster High School in 1939 she married the love of her life, Dale Harrison within weeks. She devoted her life to her children. Katy & Dale enjoyed their retirement years together, especially time spent with their 3 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. Music was a huge love and she would often be found playing her favorite standards or hymns on the organ. Ten years ago, finding herself widowed, she found solace in Central College Presbyterian Church and her beloved minister Rev. Ellsworth. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Lewis Dale Harrison, her parents and 10 brothers and sisters. She leaves behind sons Michael Harrison of Gahanna, Timothy (Sandy) Harrison of Westerville and daughter Cathy (David) Coleman of Port Clinton. Grandchildren Alyssa (Andy) Quinn, Amanda (Brad) Covert and Brad Parks; all of Central Ohio. 6 Great Grandchildren; Ryan, Owen & Ava Quinn and Brandon, Cameron & Emory Covert. A special thanks to Joyce, Judith and Jerry of Mt. Carmel Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 29 from 5 to 8 PM at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1105 Johnstown Road, Gahanna OH 43230. Funeral services Thursday at 10:30 AM, Central College Presbyterian Church Chapel, 975 Sunbury Road, Westerville OH 43081. Burial to follow at Blendon Cemetery.
