Kathleen "Kathi" D. Palmer

Kathleen "Kathi" D. Palmer, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 13, 1954 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois to Dean F. and Joanne E. (Snyder) Dorsch. Kathi was artistic and creative, she especially enjoyed scrapbooking and painting. She was an avid singer in choirs throughout her life. Kathi was a graduate of Northland High School and attended the University of Cincinnati. She worked for The Ohio Poultry Association and previously for the Longaberger Company for over 15 years. Along with her parents, she is survived by loving husband of 39 years, Mike Palmer; devoted daughter, Elizabeth Palmer; siblings, Janet Burgess and David Dorsch; nieces and nephews, Brad, Jill and Lindsay Rice, Daniel and Kyle Dorsch; aunt, Mary Dorsch; many great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends; and beloved cats, Lucky and Penny. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 4686 Walnut Street, Westerville, Ohio, where family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation in her name.
