Kathryn “Katie” Whitt, age 92, of Plain City, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 3, 2013 at Edgewater Place Nursing Home. Katie was born August 3, 1920 in Salyersville, KY to the late Raleigh and Rosalee Gibson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Whitt; son, Danny Whitt; daughter, Robin Terry; grandson, Michael O’Harra and siblings, Charles Gibson, Mary Reed, Ruth Dingus and Dean Gibson. She is survived by her daughters, Gayle (Bill) Horch, Nancy O’Harra, Kathy (David) Dean and Susan (Rod) Mouser; grandchildren, Ritchie, Todd, Ben, Amy and Nate and great-granddaughter, Maria; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Katie attended Galloway Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and caring for her family. Funeral service 1pm Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Schoedinger Grove City Chapel where family will receive friends from 12-1pm; Pastor Phil Conrad, officiating; interment in Galloway Cemetery.
