Kathy Sue (Shook) Humphrey, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Kathy was born on May 6, 1959 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late George William Shook and Mary Lou (Watts) Shook. She grew up in Reynoldsburg and graduated from Reynoldsburg High School in 1977. She enjoyed playing games and word scrambles on her phone, watching conspiracy theories and true crime shows. She loved and adored her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, George “Butch” Shook and nephew, Bobby Wolf. She is survived by her sons, Jason, Zach (Abby), and Devin Humphrey; grandchildren, Silas and Cecelia Humphrey; sisters, Pam (Rocky) Reeves, Rebecca Shook, and Ross Shook; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and faithful canine companions, Petey, Hank, and Teddy. Family will receive friends 2-4 pm Friday, December 6, 2024 at Schoedinger East, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm.
