Kathy A. Rhodes, age 60, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Aug. 22, 2026. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 27, 1966 to Virgil Sr. and Martha (Walker) Rhodes. She leaves behind her children Latrice Rhodes, Lous Breckenridge and Robbie Harris III; grandchildren Brian Johnson, Nashiya Johnson, Nalaisha Gilmore and Ameer Harris; siblings Jennifer, Lisa, Jackie, Biannica, Tammy, Jewel, Virgil Jr., Benjamin, Stuart, Virginia and Rebecca. Also surviving is Martha Ursula who raised Kathy. Kathy was member of the National Poem Association. She loved her cats including Stash who joins in heaven and Nauvi who she leaves behind. Visitation will be held on Friday September 11, 2026 from 11AM to 1PM with the funeral service starting at 1PM at the Advantage by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204.
