Kelly Baker Chase

Kelly Chase, age 52 passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Kelly was born on November 18, 1962 in Cleveland, Ohio to Bernard and Eloise (Adkins) Baker. She graduated from James Ford Rhodes High School and attended Cuyahoga Community College. Kelly loved her family and the simple things in life, like writing, flowers, and listening to music. The love of Kelly will forever be felt through the souls of her children. Kelly since you went first and we remain, one thing we'd have you do. Walk slowly down that long lonely path, for soon we'll follow you. We'd want to know each step you take that we might walk the same. For someday down that lonely path, you'll hear us call your name. Kelly is survived by her parents, Bernard and Eloise Baker; husband, Rick Chase; children, Taylor and Devin Chase; brother, Robert Baker; nieces, Emily, Katelyn and Amanda; sister-in-law, Cheryl Chase; Aunt Sarah (Ron) Childers; and many friends. Family will receive friends Saturday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio where funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 18, 2015.
