Kelly Frances Katherine

Kelly Frances Katherine passed away on June 19, 2021 after bravely battling Leiomyosarcoma, rare and aggressive cancer. Kelly was born to Mary Katherine nee Helpinstein (later Culbertson) and Oliver Randell Vance on April 24, 1969 in Elkhart, IN. Surviving and grieving in her absence are her partner, Yuliya Patlashenko of Columbus, OH, her children Sydney (Kevin) Gall of Kalamazoo, MI, Alexandra (Jay) Vanderpool of Dayton, OH, Victor Martin (Krista Kollat) of West End, NC and her grand poppets, whom she adored, Malachi, Willow, Gwendalynn, Griffin, Zaiden, Penelope.

Kelly's children, grandchildren, partner, and friends will miss her dearly and remember how much joy, fun, whimsy and love she brought into our lives. Kelly's eclectic career path brought her to nursing homes, spas, yoga studios, customer support offices and many more interesting places. Her passion for volunteering introduced many people to her vivacious, fiery, and gregarious character. Her drumming skills were appreciated and enjoyed by family and many friends. Her search for spiritual and sacred took her on many paths, yet she will be in our memories laughing and showing us the way to kindness, love, understanding and inner peace.
