Ken was born in Columbus on January 3, 1969 and adopted by his parents when he was just 10 days old. He was fortunate to connect with his birth mother later in life. Ken was preceded in death by his father, John Dorsey and birth mother, Barbara Walker. He is survived by his mother, Sylvia Dorsey; siblings, Mike Dorsey (Kim) and Julie Dorsey; half-siblings Hillary (Walker) Bates and Michael Walker; cousin and close friend, Kim, and cousins, Kari and Tracey; niece Jill; and nephews Graham, Owen, and Jack. Ken was a graduate of Northland High School and The Ohio State University where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in English. He also studied Slavic languages. Ken was a natural musician and a gifted drummer. He was active in the Columbus music scene during the 1980s and 1990s.
