

Kenneth H. “Kim” Griffin, FLMI, CLU, FALU, ChFC, age 68, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2013. Born June 10, 1945 in Bluffton, Indiana to the late Kenneth H. and Emma Griffin. He was a graduate of Ball State University with a B.S. in Business. In addition to his work with Nationwide Insurance Co., he was the Editor of the professional Magazine, ‘On the Risk’. He and his wife were members of Powell United Methodist Church. An outdoorsman, a student of history, and the family vacation planner. A devoted husband, dad and grandpa, he will be deeply missed by his family: his loving wife of 47 years, Karen; sons Kedric (Allison) Griffin, Kylen Griffin and Kele Griffin; grandchildren Seraphim, Karina and Levi; brother Tom Griffin; nieces and nephews Alan Griffin, Cyndi Dawson, Lori Luke, Phillip Griffin, Jerry Wittwer and Suzi Hahn and their families. Family will receive friends on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Powell United Methodist Church, 825 E. Olentangy Street, Powell, 43065 where his Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made, in his name, to the Powell United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger Worthington Chapel.
